GOT SYNCRETIC 2.0 is a cross format digital object building on Firouz FarmanFarmaian’s GATES OF TURAN physical installation produced for the Kyrgyz Pavilion, 59th Biennale di Venezia ( 04-2022 / 11-2022 ).
Combining digital art, film and sound the drop deploys unique + limited edition NFT Collections minted on the Solana Blockchain unlocking physical + digital content.
Celebrating the 2 year anniversary of GATES OF TURAN, the drop will go live 18-04-2024 in partnership with Dubai based art agency and dynamic gallery espace on the occasion of the opening of the 6oth Biennale Di Venezia and FarmanFarmaian’s SHIMMERR screening+ exhibit @ Galleria Itinerarte, Venezia.

The KAYAKALAK VIDEOFORRM COLLECTION includes x7 44sec animations minted on Solsea ( Solana Blockchain ) produced on Adobe premiere ( videoforrms ) layering original FarmanFarmaian designs + additional integrated drawings built on the dedicated GATES OF TURAN soundscape composed and produced by the artist’s experimental music ensemble FORRM in 2022 ( FORRM NU FORRM album ).
Unlocks
The acquisition of the collection unlocks a unique USB key withholding x7 high definition KAYAKALAK VIDEOFORRM mp4 files and signed authentication certificate pdfs.

The designs are based on the original Postribal physical KAYAKALAK designs developed on felt fabric Panels ( 170x140cm ) produced in Kyrgyzstan’s Tian Shan Range through 2021-2022 by Firouz FarmanFarmaian in close collaboration with nomad heritage craftswomen of the Altyn Kol women led NGO in view of the Kyrgyz Pavilion, 59th Biennale Di Venezia. The animations were produced in collaboration with digital designer Farbod M. Mehr.

SHIMMER ( ASTRAL NOMAD EDIT ) NFT EDITION includes x 2 NFT limited editions minted on Solsea ( Solana Blockchain ) of the 16:57’ Firouz Farman Farmaian experimental film built on the dedicated SHIMMER Soundscape composed and produced by the artist’s experimental music ensemble FORRM in 2022 ( FORRM NU FORRM album ).

The film was originally created in 2022 for the Kyrgyz Pavilion in a 1.57’ version ( GATES OF TURAN EDIT ) and completed in 2023 to premiere at the Istanbul Mediation Biennale in November 2023. The film was recorded in Kyrgyzstan through 2021 and 2022 on the artist's Iphone 12 including the ‘Road to Venice’ documentary drone introduction sequence courtesy of Mathieu Vollaire ( Recifims Productions Paris ) through the sourcing-production phase of GOT

As the artists experimental music ensemble FORRM has accompanied FarmanFarmaian in the creation of all of his postribal installations since 2018 performing live at several occasions including on the occasion of GATES OF TURAN’s VIP Venice biennale opening 22-04-2022.
